16 of the largest wedding trends for 2019

The new year is coming and with it a whole new range of themes, colors, patterns and trends in marriage.

We investigated the international influence of overseas marriages and discussed with Australian couples what they like about their marriage and what we will see more in 2019.

Luxury items and private moments are definitely things to look forward to, while distinctive and natural, natural makeup doesn't go anywhere.
We have already seen how the influence of luxury weddings on Instagram and Pinterest has brought luxury for multiple weddings, but it is something that we will see even more in 2019.

Rustic luxury ceremonies or luxury Bohemian weddings will certainly be fashionable, because we add more luxury elements to vintage weddings, vineyards and even alternatives.

Whatever type of theme you are looking for, the luxury function of your interior is becoming more accessible and is therefore being used by more and more couples.

Private moments
We've all seen the "first look" trend of photography, but now these private moments also extend to the wedding ceremony. Some couples choose to give their personal greetings in private, with the celebrant as their only witness, so that they can spend their time together privately before sharing their love with their family and friends.

Many couples say that they want to have more time with their partner during their marriage, so we see some couples separated from this period in their program. We will see this passage of photos and voices to other elements of the wedding, such as private tables for the couple or even private meetings before the official ceremony.
Immediate entertainment
Everyone likes to have fun at a wedding, but it goes beyond the traditional group and the photo booth. Couples choose entertainment for their guests, whether they are planes, fireworks or specific dancers, to make their wedding even more unique.

Given the response to Sangeet, a talent show at the wedding of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, we do not think that the trend for more extensive entertainment will soon be everywhere.

Interactive eating stations
Food trucks and food stations have been around for a while, but by 2019 they will have a real head start. We see the restoration before it becomes increasingly important for couples who try to taste something different on their big day.

From making your own tacos, paella stations and waffle catering trucks, interactive food stations and even buffet meals will become more popular in 2019.

More alternative seats
We go to weddings that have a bit more a relaxed atmosphere when it comes to food and seats. By 2019, more couples will opt for relaxation rather than regular sessions for their guests. We will also see more style when it comes to seating, with traditional chairs giving way to more couches, cushions, crates and paddle rooms for a boho atmosphere.
